The key feature to this is the retractable needles, which, you may think at first is just for storage. However, it’s actually really useful for retracting the needles back from the bait after prep.

There’s a little clip to hold the hook for perfect bait presentation and the needles are set in at a slight angle allowing them to compress together on a tightly bound bait...

One of the prongs now has a hole in the end of it so the hook can now be held at the end of the prong.

Prongs retract into handle when not in use.
